Events happened in the months of October & November:

1. The Eleven organizations that are part of HBSIG (Hyderabad Benchmarking Special Interest Group) submitted complete data and HBSIG started Benchmarking process. Bucketization and the analysis are done. Benchmarking is completed on Dec 15th and results will be presented on annual day. Organizations that are part of HBSIG, and the Members of analysis group are-

2. A session on "Software Automation" conducted by Ms. Ameeta Roy of Rational on request by SPIN members, on 18th of October at Rational office
3. Repetition of "Software Automation" session conducted by Mr. Ramakant of Rational for next set of members on 25th of October at Rational office
4. Best practice sharing I session conducted on 12th of November. The Organizations participated are
   1. Baan: "Peer Reviews / Fagan Inspection with Rhino Yield Estimation" - presented by Adiki Venkatesh
   2. Softpro: "Internal Communication" - presented by Sasi Prasad
   3. Intergraph: "Effective functioning of SQA at Intergraph" - presented by Sailendra
   4. Tanning: "Metrics in the form of Process Automation" - presented by Ravi Posani
   5. Wipro Technologies: "Quantitative Project Management" - presented by Rama Bhaghi
   
5. Best practice sharing II session conducted on 29th of November 2002 . The Organizations participated are
   1. divine India (2 best practices): a. "Our Self Directed Training Model" and b. "Management Review Framework" - presented by Mantravadi Sharma
   2. Orbitech Solutions Ltd: "A Quantitative Approach to Risk Management" - presented by Sona Bhatia
   3. Visual Soft: "Branch Coverage technique adopted for Unit Testing by the Developers" - presented by BVG Raju
   4. Infotech: a."Code Reviews" and b."Projects Progress Presentation" - presented by Prakash AVSS and Siva Ramakrishna
   5. Motorola India Electronics Ltd: "Continuous Audits with assessment flavor" - Maneesha
   
   Both the sessions were organized in Wipro Technologies, Madhapur.
6. A session on "Orthogonal Defect Classification" conducted by Mr. Prakasa Rao, a well experienced consultant, on 22nd of November 2002 at Sierra Atlantic office
