About the speaker :

A graduate of B.I.T.S. Pilani, with Masters in Systems & Information with concentration in Software Engineering SEI authorized SW-CMM and P-CMM CBA -IPI Lead Assessor, SPICE Lead Assessor, ISO Lead Auditor and Certified Auditor Analyst Conducted about 40 software registration audits for CMM CBA - IPI and one PCMM based CBA - IPI assessments in India. Presented/ reviewed several papers in national/international conferences. Represented India on and participated in the ISO/JTC1/SC7/WG10 meetings on deliberations on SPICE Framework. involved in the refinement of both CMM and People-CMM models.

4. A session on "Transition from CMM to CMMi" by Raghav Nandyal, CEO of Sitara Technologies. Conducted in the Quality Cirle Forum of India (QCFI)

About the speaker:

Raghav S. Nandyal has many years of consulting, software engineering and management experience. He is an SEI authorized instructor on Introduction to CMMI-SE/SW/IPDD and is among the very few authorized lead assessors on the CMMI-SE/SW/IPPD (SCAMPI Method), the Software CMM and the People CMM in the world. He has been a prime consultant, coach and an assessor on Software and People- CMM based process improvement initiatives in leading multinationals, worldwide since 1996. He is a respected authority in areas of Software Engineering and Management and is on the international review panel for IEEE Software. He is a regular speaker at international conferences such as the SEPG. He has trained a number of people in the United States of America, India, Bangkok and South Korea on Software and People CMM. He is currently the Founder and CEO of SITARA Technologies Private Limited - a professional services Company with focus on strategic management consulting. SITARA Technologies is the only transition partner with the Software Engineering Institute in Asia Pacific on CMMI-SE/SW/IPPD and SCAMPI(sm)
