Other events
1. HYDSPIN member list is updated and finalized for second Quarter
2. This year ASIA SEPG conference (2003) was conducted by QAI & SEI, in Hyderabad. The dates were July 28th to August 2nd. HYDSPIN was involved along with HYSEA in providing support for SEPG conference.

3. Some of HYDSPIN members passed CSQA examination and thanked the instructors who are also members of HYDSPIN.
4. First exam of this year on CSQA/CSTE was held on 14th of June in Kamat Lingapur. Some of HYDSPIN members appeared for the exam.

5. Second exam of this year on CSQA/ CSTE was on 13th of September in Kamat Lingapur and some more HYDSPIN members appeared for the exam.

6. HYDSPIN is registered formally now as Hyderabad Software Process Improvement network (alias HYDSPIN) with Registrar of co-operative societies, Hyderabad. The registered no. is ...675/2003. An account opened in name of HYDSPIN, so that membership fee can be paid as cheque in name of HYDSPIN.

 

7. For the first time in HYDSPIN history, HYDSPIN organized a 2 day Training on Statistical Techniques for Software Industry by Indian Statistical Institute and the training programme was well appreciated by the trainees. About 20 students attended the training and got certificates. Dates are mentioned in sessions list above.

8. Benchmarking is planned and started in the month of July. Total 12 organizations are participating this year. By December the Benchmarking process is planned to be completed. The HBSIG (Hyderabad Benchmarking Special Interest Group) is formed. The NDA, Authorization letters are submitted and the data gathering is in progress.
