Other Events

Process Benchmarking

The process benchmarking session was held on 17th January 2005 at Future Point, Next HDFC Bank, SR Nagar X roads. 

Recap, the process benchmarking which started on 8th Oct 04 is being continued as planned earlier. This would be till March 2005. The process benchmarking will include Metrics Benchmarking, as per the interest shown by many organizations. Total 20 organizations are participating in the Benchmarking. Initial level of data related to process is currently being done, collection of Metrics data has started in January.

The results of Process and Metrics Benchmarking will be published at the end of March 2005.

 

CSQA orientation sessions

 

CSQA orientation to the members were conducted in the month of January 2005.

Knowledge PointMetrics- if you are just starting to collect software metrics, remember to keep it simple. If you bury yourself with data, your metrics effort will fail.

Establishing a Baseline- Baseline metrics data should be collected from a large, representative sampling of past software projects.
