Other Events

Process Benchmarking

The process benchmarking which started on 8th Oct 04 will be continued till March 2005. The process benchmarking will include Metrics Benchmarking, as per the interest shown by many organizations. Total 20 organizations are participating in the Benchmarking. Initial level of data related to process is currently being done, collection of Metrics data will start in January.

The results of Process and Metrics Benchmarking will be published at the end of March 2005.

Six Sigma Black Belt Training Program

About 15 members of HYDSPIN were trained and certified in Six Sigma Black Belt Training Programme conducted by ISI, Hyderabad. They completed projects in their respective organizations successfully, and selected 3 projects will be presented in the International Six Sigma Conference to be held on 28th of Dec 2004.

Hyderabad SPIN Quality Workshop

Venue: Kamat Lingapur Hotel, Begumpet.

Date: 11th Sept 2004

Timings

10:30am to 5:30pm, with lunch & tea/snacks breaks.

The workshop was well attended and received by participants from several software organizations of Hyderabad. Questions and Answers session at the end of each session led to knowledge sharing on practices and practical issues. The chief guest for this workshop was Mr. Prabhu Sinha, Sr. VP, Satyam Computers. Hyd SPIN is Thankful to him and others who participated.
