Announcement to the HYDSPIN Members on HYDSPIN Conference
On 19th Jul 2006, HYDSPIN announced of conducting a "SPIN Conference" on 6th and 7th of October 2006. This conference is planned to grace the occasion of completion of 10 years of HYDSPIN service to Hyderabad Software Industry.
As part of the conference, HYDSPIN invited members to submit papers on the Best Practices implemented in respective organizations, in the area related to the theme of conference "Business Excellence through Process Improvement". The abstracts received were evaluated to select the papers. Submitters of selected abstracts were informed to prepare papers, which were further evaluated by the Evaluation committee. Out of all the papers 5 were finally selected for presentation in the conference.

Volunteering Activity of HYDSPIN
HYDSPIN conducts "free" trainings on Quality Assurance topics, and the basis is taken as CSQA common body of knowledge. These Quality Assurance trainings are useful for the aspirants of CSQA conducted by QAI, and also for the Engineers who are interested to enhance their knowledge on required QA domains. HYDSPIN conducted CSQA training sessions in the second and third quarters this year, covering all ten domains of CSQA.

The CMMI® Product Team is pleased to announce that CMMI v1.2 is now available. The release of CMMI v1.2 includes improvements to all parts of the CMMI Product Suite in response to issues that have emerged in practice. The changes focus on improving the quality of CMMI products and the consistency of how they are applied.

Anyone who will be an appraisal team member on a SCAMPI v1.2 appraisal must take this upgrade training or the v1.2 Introduction to CMMI course.
