Major Highlights:
January 2009:
1. New year started with new members joining HYDSPIN and with a new re-start of YahooGroup Mail ID. The old names are removed from he Group ID to include mail ids of this year's members.
 
2. The HYDSPIN website is re-designed to make it simpler and user friendly. The look & feel is changed to bring clarity in the menu lists. The website is now re-designed to separate the Current Activities and Past activities, availability of latest newsletter in the home page.
 
3. The Six Sigma Black Belt Training programme is initiated, planned to be conducted in the month of April 09 . The members were informed and schedule is published. The Training will be conducted in 2nd week of April 09.
 
4. The Re-designing of HYDSPIN website is initiated in the last week of January 2009. The cleaning of the past contents, newsletters, past activities started. New member list is created for corporate members and individual members. It is decided that the individual members list will contain the names of representatives from corporate member list.

February 2009:
1. Knowledge Sharing session:

2. CSQA Knowledge sharing sessions for CSQA Aspirants:
CSQA sessions were conducted by Software professionals who are CSQA certified. The sessions are coordinated by Support coordinator Dr. Neeta Gulati.
The 10 domains are covered as two parts in two week ends on 28th Feb & 7th March 2009.
 
3. A Knowledge sharing session on "Lean Six Sigma" a 4 hr session conducted by Mr. Pavan Kumar, Head of Kinduz Consultancy.
 
4. Scheduled a webinar on CMMI V1.3 Product Suite, conducted by SEI SPIN.
