- SCAMPI Lead Appraiser evaluation along with training is conducted by SEI. To become a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser, you must successfully complete the SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training course and receive a satisfactory observation report. The observation report documents an evaluation of your performance as a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser.
- P-CMM Lead Appraiser evaluation along with training is conducted by SEI. The SEI P-CMM lead appraiser agreement is available to organizations and to individuals when the individual is a business entity such as independent contractor or consultant. Qualified candidate P-CMM lead appraisers become authorized by the SEI to train P-CMM appraisal teams and to conduct appraisals on behalf of their organization under the SEI P-CMM lead appraisal agreement.
- ATAM Evaluator certificate with training is conducted by SEI. The Architecture Tradeoff Analysis MethodSM (ATAMSM) is a proven, highly effective method for systematically evaluating software architectures for fitness of purpose. The ATAM exposes architectural risks that potentially inhibit the achievement of quality attribute goals and the system's business/mission goals.
- ATAM Leader training is conducted by SEI. There is a two-day course that focuses on the social and leadership skills needed to successfully lead an architecture evaluation using the ATAM. The course presents ATAM facilitation requirements and challenges in the context of general facilitation and consulting principles. Through exercises, participants practice being an ATAM lead evaluator.
- CMMI Instructor training with certificate is conducted by SEI. This three-day course introduces those interested in becoming SEI-authorized Introduction to CMMI course instructors to details of the Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) models. The candidate instructors must have an evident in-depth understanding of CMMI models as well as effective facilitation skills to satisfactorily complete this course.
- The SEI-Certified PSP Developer Exam is conducted by SEI. The SEI-Certified PSP Developer certification program began in response to the growing number of software development professionals who found that incorporating the PSP methodology into their software development efforts consistently improved their ability to produce quality products on predictable schedules. The PSP Developer certification serves to recognize that accomplishment, awarding PSP Developers with a distinction that allows them to stand out among their peers. - Certified Quality Auditor
The Certified Quality Auditor is a professional who understands the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies. The Certified Quality Auditor analyzes all elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems. - Certified Quality EngineerThe Certified Quality Engineer is a professional who understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control. This body of knowledge and applied technologies include, but are not limited to, development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, facility with quality cost concepts and techniques, and the knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Certified Software Quality Engineer
The Certified Software Quality Engineer understands software quality development and implementation, software inspection, testing, verification and validation; and implements software development and maintenance processes and methods.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – SSGB conducted by ASQ. The Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – SSBB conducted by ASQ. The Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is a professional who can explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. A Black Belt should demonstrate team leadership, understand team dynamics and assign team member roles and responsibilities. Black Belts have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. They have basic knowledge of Lean enterprise concepts, are able to identify non-value-added elements and activities and are able to use specific tools.
