By providing a forum for the open exchange of experiences and ideas amongst software professionals, Software Process Improvement Network - Hyderabad becomes a community for those who seek to enhance their software development skills and bring about software process improvement in their organizations through knowledge sharing.

HYDERABAD Software Process Improvement Network, in short known as Hyderabad SPIN is a part of the WorldWide SPIN. It is a non-profit organization which is a group of software professionals of various organizations. It was conceived to take off on 9th Sept 1995, and overcoming all its teething problems, finally took off in the month of November in 1995.

The active International Software Process Improvement Networks (SPINs) in India are in Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Pune, Trivandram.

Our mission has been and always will be to provide a forum for a free and open exchange of experiences, sharing the knowledge on software process improvement amongst the software professionals across various organizations.

The primary objective of HYDSPIN is to enhance software development skills among the software professionals in Hyderabad (India) through active programs such as SPIN meetings, publications, recognition of excellence and an active sharing of knowledge among fellow professionals.

 

Overview of the web site
Apart from serving as the primary form of communication among all the members of HYDSPIN, this site gives information about the trends in Software Engineering, aids process improvements and presents an overall view of the concepts of Software Engineering and Software Project development.

Apart from the above-mentioned files, the Knowledge centre provides information for software professionals. Books and web sites are given for the the benefit of the members. Information about the various trainings and certifications for software professionals are also provided.
